data Migration from SAP to AMOS at Iberia
Situation
As part of the implementation of their new MRO software system, Iberia was looking for a trusted partner to conduct the data migration within a short time frame and with broad expertise in databases and data structure due to a heavily customised SAP system.
Solution
Using EXSYN's data processing tool, NEXUS and hiring Aircraft Data Consultants from EXSYN as experts to conduct and manage the data migration As NEXUS enables a faster and more repetitive data migration process, the strict and short time window could be met. The challenge of the customised source system was tackled by using NEXUS's data validation and data cleansing functions, so that Iberia received a huge improvement in their aircraft data quality. Next to the data migration, NEXUS was also used to support Iberia with the phase-in of their newly delivered A330 aircraft.
