Aircraft data cleansing - data Audit
How we help Airlines in increasing and maintaining aircraft data quality
Aircraft Data Scan - the data health check
We start with identifying incorrect, corrupted, incorrectly formatted, duplicate, or incomplete data within a dataset through our aircraft data scan.
With a data scan EXSYN uses its various tools and know-how to benchmark the continued airworthiness data against industry standards and best practice.
What is part of an aircraft data Scan
-
Tail-by-Tail analysis report
Holistic review of state of data of all elements comprising aircraft airworthiness and their impact.
-
Static data assessment
Detailed report that includes the various findings on generic static data setup and any deficiencies, gaps with other data or best-practice.
-
Debriefing workshop
The outcomes of the data health analysis are shared with the above reports. During a special workshop (virtual or on-location) a debriefing presentation is provided to key stakeholders on the outcome of the analysis.
We recommend a data scan when:
You have suffered from AOG’s due to unclear airworthiness status of an aircraft
You are planning to implement predictive maintenance
You are considering a replacement / upgrade of their existing MRO/M&E software system
You need to return a leased aircraft, renew the lease of an aircraft or plan to retire a fleet of aircraft
After the data scan you know exactly what your level of data quality is and receive recommendations on how to best address the identified gaps and how to retain levels of data quality in the future.

Data Cleansing Taskforce
When you are implementing a new MRO/M&E software system you can find yourself in need of extending your data migration activities with data cleansing work. Examples could include:
Serial number readouts on aircraft to confirm installation data
Inventory audit to determine spare parts inventory accuracy
Dirty-Finger-Print checks to confirm maintenance performed actions
Processing industry manuals or documents to enhance existing data such as Modification records or Service Bulletins.
With a dedicated taskforce from EXSYN this will be delivered within time, quality and budget to meet the requirements of the overall MRO/M&E implementation project.
